About Us

Apsley Care Ltd is a children’s homes provider run with integrity and passion to empower and support the emotional well-being of those we look after. We are a highly experienced organization with focus on positive outcomes for all those that we meet.

Apsley Care Ltd provides a unique package of support and care 24 hours a day 365 days a year, for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in our care system to date. Our purpose at Apsley Care Ltd is to provide a warm welcoming, nurturing, and stable environment to all our children and young people. This is designed to positively promote the wellbeing and safety of our children and young people. Our Sandpiper home is providing medium to long term placement. Emergency Admissions can also be accepted on a pre-planned basis.

Vision

We aim to provide young people with the kind of parental support and attention they may have missed, to help them learn about being human, how to understand their emotions and how to better handle the consequences of those emotions. We aim to give them security so they can stay still and actually feel safe for a while, so they can feel cared for without the option of running away from this feeling.
 
We aim to help them learn about themselves and the choices they can make for their future through everyday relationships with staff, adults and other young people. We aim to support and build their skills in learning at their school so they can gain qualifications and start to believe in their own ability to achieve. We aim to provide all the young people we care for with the necessary support so that they are ready, willing, and prepared for their next future.

We listen to children and young people’s wishes and feelings and encourage them to be involved in all age appropriate aspects of planning for their life.
